Two of my mother’s Midden Serieswere exhibited at the Art Gallery of Peterborough in the gallery’s first Triennial Exhibition of Peterborough-region artists.  There was a lot of interesting, expressive art, and a few stand-out pieces.  I’m biased, of course, but I think my mother’s work was among the stand-outs.  Clearly, this Akimbo reviewer shared my view.  Awesome.

I would like very much to be able to wear this gown.  I don’t need to look like Scarlett Johansson to pull it off (though it wouldn’t hurt), which is good, since I don’t have anything resembling her body type.  Seriously, though, that is probably one of the sexiest dresses I have ever seen.  Okay, goal in mind.
